We're looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician who enjoys working with heavy mechanical components, hydraulic systems, and custom-built machinery.

You'll work in a modern workshop alongside experienced engineers and technicians where quality, craftsmanship, and teamwork are key.

What will you do?
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you'll be responsible for assembling complete machines and hydraulic systems based on technical drawings.
Your work includes:
- Mechanical assembly of heavy machinery and custom-built equipment
- Installing and connecting hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, hoses, and manifolds
- Aligning shafts, bearings, gearboxes, and drive systems
- Reading and interpreting mechanical and hydraulic drawings
- Performing measurements, adjustments, and functional testing
- Troubleshooting assembly issues and ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Working together with engineering and production teams during machine build and commissioning

What are we looking for?
You enjoy working with your hands and solving mechanical challenges. You take pride in delivering quality and understand how mechanical systems work.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Minimum MBO-level education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive, Agricultural Engineering, or a similar technical field
- Strong mechanical assembly experience
- Experience working with hydraulic systems
- The ability to read technical drawings independently
- Experience with bearings, gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, or rotating equipment
- A practical, solution-oriented mindset
- Good English communication skills (Dutch is an advantage)
Experience in machine building, heavy equipment, offshore, agricultural machinery, cranes, construction equipment, or industrial maintenance is highly valued.
