Do you like working with machines and solving technical problems with your hands? We are looking for a (Junior) Mechanical Maintenance Technician to strengthen the team of a modern factory near Amsterdam.

Whether you already have a few years of experience in maintenance or you are at the start of your career and want to develop further — this role gives you the chance to grow as a technician in a professional production environment.

Your role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Carry out preventive maintenance on factory machines (cleaning, lubricating, adjusting)

• Replace parts such as belts, bearings, seals, hoses, and filters

• Troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues, sometimes with small electrical work

• Support machine restarts after maintenance activities

• Keep clear records of your work and technical findings

What you bring

• Some relevant work experience with machines, tools, or technical systems (in a factory, workshop, or similar environment)

• A hands-on, practical mindset — you enjoy tinkering and fixing things

• Safety-conscious and reliable

• Willingness to learn and grow into a skilled maintenance technician

• A technical diploma (MBO in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar) is welcome, but hands-on experience is just as valuable

• Basic knowledge of PLCs or electrical systems is a plus, not a must

What we offer

• Salary up to €4,600 gross per month (depending on experience)

• Day shifts only (Monday to Friday — evenings and weekends off)

• 25 vacation days per year (full-time basis)
