Where will you be working?

You will join an international player in the high-tech sector, specialized in advanced motion platforms and simulation systems. From our modern workshop in De Kwakel, you will contribute to innovative projects that are used worldwide. You will be part of a motivated team of engineers and mechanics, working in a collaborative, professional, and modern environment.

Your role

As Work Preparator / Production Planner, you will play a central role in bridging operations and production. You will translate technical requirements into clear production instructions, prepare documentation, and ensure projects are ready for assembly. In addition, you will plan and monitor production activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.

What you will do

• Prepare and translate project documentation into production-ready instructions.
• Review and validate mechanical and electrical technical drawings and specifications.
• Create and maintain production schedules, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.
• Apply Lean methodologies to improve efficiency and eliminate waste in production processes.
• Act as the key contact between operations, project management, and production.
• Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we ask

• Degree (MBO 4 / Bachelor) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within machine building or high-tech production.
• Proven knowledge of Lean methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement).
• Experience with production planning tools
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage).
• Hands-on, structured, and detail-oriented mindset.

What we offer

• Salary indication: €4,000 gross per month (depending on knowledge and experience).
• 1-year contract (32–40 hours per week) with the prospect of a permanent position.
• 25 vacation days + 13 ADV days (based on full-time employment).
