The role

As production planner, you are the essential bridge between operations and production. You transform technical requirements into clear, actionable instructions, prepare all necessary documentation, and ensure projects are fully ready for assembly. Additionally, you will create and monitor production schedules, driving efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

A structured onboarding program will get you up to speed quickly with the company’s systems, processes, and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Translate technical documentation into production-ready work instructions.
• Review and validate mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor production schedules, balancing deadlines and priorities.
• Implement Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement) to improve workflows.
• Serve as the main point of contact between operations, project management, and production.
• Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Your profile

• MBO-4 / Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within machine building or high-tech production.
• Solid knowledge of Lean principles and production planning tools.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Structured, detail-oriented, and hands-on.
