This company builds and maintains advanced heavy duty vehicles used worldwide. In the workshop, vehicles are assembled, tested, serviced, and prepared for variety of customers.
They are looking for a practical Workshop Mechanic who enjoys both mechanical assembly and maintenance work on heavy-duty systems or vehicles.
Your job
As a Workshop Mechanic, you work on large mechanical systems in the workshop. Your work is a mix of building, maintaining, and servicing.
You will:
- Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty systems and vehicles
- Assemble and disassemble large mechanical machinery
- Inspect mechanical parts and solve technical issues
- Replace worn components such as bearings, drives, mechanical linkages, and structural parts
- Read and follow mechanical technical drawings
- Use workshop tools and lifting equipment safely
- Prepare machines and systems for testing and delivery
- Occasionally support installation or service work on-site (not frequent)
This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background in maintenance, who likes working with heavy parts and real workshop jobs.

What you bring
- Experience as a maintenance mechanic, heavy vehicle mechanic, or machine maintenance technician
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, drives, and heavy components
- Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings
- Hands-on mentality and problem-solving skills
- Experience with mechanical repairs, alignment, and part replacement
- English or Dutch speaking
- Willingness to occasionally travel is a plus
