We are looking for a (Junior) Maintenance Mechanic for a high-tech logistics environment where no two days are the same.

About the role

In this position, you will work in a fully automated logistics environment where technology is constantly in motion. You will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing installations to ensure the entire system keeps running 24/7.

This is a hands-on role combining mechanical work with basic electrical tasks, perfect for someone who enjoys real technical work rather than repetitive routines.

What will you do?

• Perform maintenance on installations such as cranes and conveyor systems
• Clean and lubricate components like bearings, chains, and rollers
• Inspect machines and identify wear or irregularities
• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
• Log all maintenance activities in the system
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

You will be working on advanced automated systems including moving cranes and conveyor installations operating continuously.

What do we expect from you?

• Minimum MBO/BBL technical education or equivalent
  (Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Mechatronics, or similar)
• Hands-on technical experience (work or hobby)
• Affinity with mechanical systems and basic electrical knowledge
• Willingness to work in a 5-shift schedule (3-4-3 rotation)
• Proactive and practical mindset
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility
• Attention to cleanliness, structure, and safety
• Dutch or willingness to learn (English is acceptable)
