About the role

A leading international manufacturing company is finalizing the construction of a brand-new, high-tech production facility in the Rotterdam region. This advanced site will operate fully automated systems, packaging millions of products daily.

To support the commissioning and long-term performance of this facility, we are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician who enjoys working with modern machinery and wants to be involved from day one in a large-scale industrial environment.

Your responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-tech production and packaging systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical faults
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and ramp-up of new production lines
• Ensure maximum machine uptime and safe operations
• Collaborate with production, engineering teams, and external suppliers
• Document maintenance work and technical improvements
• Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization initiatives

Your profile

• Minimum MBO-level diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive or similar
• Experience in maintenance within an industrial or production environment
• Minimum B-1 level Dutch and Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Valid driver’s license (B)
• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
