Your role

As a Service Engineer High Tech / Electrical Panel Builder, you will work on advanced electrical systems and high-tech installations within a modern workshop and at customer locations.

Approximately 50% of your work takes place in our workshop, where you build, wire, test, and commission electrical control panels and high-tech systems. The remaining 50% consists of service work at customer sites, primarily in the surrounding region.

Because you will participate in a standby service rotation, a valid driving licence (Category B) is required.

This is a hands-on technical role where precision, quality, and problem-solving are essential. You will work closely with engineers, project teams, and fellow technicians on innovative technical solutions.

What will you do?

• Build and assemble electrical control panels and control cabinets
• Wire electrical systems, cable harnesses, and components
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Test, commission, and troubleshoot electrical installations
• Perform service, maintenance, and fault finding at customer locations
• Support prototype builds and custom technical projects
• Carry out quality inspections and functional testing
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and workshop colleagues
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and technical innovations
• Participate in an on-call/standby service rotation

Requirements

• MBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electronic, or a similar technical field
• Experience with electrical panel building, electrical assembly, or industrial wiring
• Experience within machine building, industrial automation, automotive, commercial vehicles, or high-tech equipment is an advantage
• Able to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Hands-on mentality with strong attention to detail
• Solution-oriented and eager to learn
• Good communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage)
• Valid driving licence (Category B) – required for customer visits and standby shifts
• Willingness to participate in an on-call service schedule
