We are looking for a (Junior) Assembly Technician to join an innovative company that develops and builds advanced automation systems. You will work on unique machines that combine precision mechanics, motion technology, pneumatics and mechatronics.
This is not repetitive production work. Every machine is different, and you will be involved in the complete build process — from assembling components to testing the finished system.
What will you do?
As a (Junior) Assembly Technician, you will work in a modern workshop where you assemble high-tech machines based on technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Building mechanical modules and complete automation machines
- Reading and working from mechanical drawings and 3D models
- Installing mechanical components such as motors, bearings, linear guides and drives
- Performing mechanical assembly, alignment and adjustments
- Assisting with pneumatic and electrical integration
- Testing machines and supporting commissioning activities
- Identifying technical issues and solving problems together with engineers
- Ensuring high-quality assembly and a clean working environment
Who are we looking for?
You are someone who enjoys working with technology and seeing a machine come together step by step. You like understanding how things work and you are motivated to develop your technical skills.
You have:
- An MBO level or bachelor education in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
- A hands-on mentality and strong technical interest
- The ability to read mechanical drawings, or the motivation to learn
- Affinity with automation, mechanics and machine building
- A precise and quality-focused way of working
- Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
Both junior technicians and candidates with some experience in machine assembly are welcome.
