Are you an experienced Electrical Technician who enjoys working with advanced machinery and automation? Would you like to work for a large international company in a highly automated, high-tech production environment?
We are looking for an Electrical Technician for a high-tech production facility in Utrecht. You will work with a wide range of advanced production, packaging and logistics systems.
You will become part of a close-knit Technical Department, working together with experienced technicians to keep the production environment running safely, efficiently and reliably.
Your responsibilities
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and improvements of electrical and automated systems.
Your main tasks include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and control-related failures
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Working with automated production and packaging machinery
- Maintaining packaging and palletizing machines
- Working with blow moulders used for plastic packaging
- Working with blenders and mixing equipment
- Troubleshooting equipment used for internal logistics, including forklift trucks and barcode scanning systems
- Supporting machine start-ups, modifications and technical improvements
- Identifying recurring failures and helping to find structural solutions
- Working closely with operators and other technicians
- Following safety, quality and maintenance procedures
You will work with a wide variety of modern equipment, making this a challenging and varied technical position.

What are we looking for?
- MBO-level education in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a similar technical field
- Experience as an Electrical Technician, Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Experience with industrial electrical systems and automated machinery
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- A practical, hands-on and proactive approach
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Dutch language skills at minimum B1-B2 level
- Willingness to work in a 5-shift systems and weekend
Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, frequency drives or industrial automation is a strong advantage.
