Job Description

For an international technical organization in Alphen aan den Rijn, we are looking for an experienced Assembly Technician.

A practical and comfortable workshop position focused on assembly of mechanical and hydraulic products.

You will work with engines, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, transmissions, shafts and other mechanical components.

The role is mainly workshop-based, with only 1–2 customer visits per year.

What will you do?

• Assemble mechanical and hydraulic products
• Assemble engines, gearboxes, transmissions and drive systems
• Fit and adjust mechanical components
• Work from technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Check and test completed assemblies
• Use hand tools and workshop equipment
• Make small mechanical adjustments where needed

What do you bring?

• Practical experience in mechanical assembly
• Background in maritime, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, hydraulics or machine building
• Good understanding of mechanical systems
• Able to read technical drawings
• Careful and precise way of working
• Dutch at B2 level or higher
• English is a plus

• Salary up to €3,500 gross per month, depending on experience
