We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a close-knit technical team in a highly automated chocolate production environment near Amsterdam.

And this isn't just another production line.

You will work with technology across the entire chocolate production process,from bakery and processing equipment to automated packaging, labelling, conveyors, robotics and everything in between.

What will you do?

As a Maintenance Technician, you keep a highly automated production environment running.

You will work with a wide variety of machines and installations, which means there is always something new to discover.

Your work can involve:

• Bakery and food-processing machinery
• Chocolate production and processing equipment
• Conveyors and automated material handling
• Motors, gearboxes and drives
• Sensors and pneumatic systems
• Automated packaging machinery
• Wrapping and filling machines
• Labelling and coding equipment
• Robotic systems
• Automated production lines
• Mechanical installations and auxiliary systems

When something stops, you don't simply replace a component and move on.

You investigate the cause.

You will:

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical breakdowns.
• Investigate recurring faults and identify root causes.
• Repair, adjust and improve production machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Work on highly automated production and packaging lines.
• Troubleshoot conveyors, motors, gearboxes, sensors and mechanical systems.
• Support improvements and technical modifications.
• Work closely with operators, engineers and fellow technicians.
• Learn more about electrical systems, PLCs and industrial automation as you develop.

Who are we looking for?

You have a strong mechanical background and genuinely enjoy working with machines.

You are someone who:

• Is hands-on and practical.
• Is curious about how machines work.
• Enjoys troubleshooting and finding the cause of problems.
• Likes to take things apart and understand how they work.
• Doesn't need someone standing next to you telling you what to do.
• Isn't afraid to get your hands dirty.
• Enjoys learning new technology.
• Works well with colleagues.
• Takes safety and quality seriously.

Experience in mechanical maintenance, manufacturing, food production, automotive, machine building, logistics, packaging or mechatronics is welcome.

You don't need to know everything.
