About the role

Our client is an international company specialising in offshore solutions and services for the maritime industry. From its base in the Rotterdam region, the company supports offshore-related operations and customers across Europe.

We are looking for a Service Coordinator with an engineering or maritime background to coordinate service activities and act as an important link between customers, service engineers and internal teams throughout Europe.

You will work in an international environment, communicating daily with colleagues, customers and stakeholders in different European countries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and follow up on offshore-related service jobs and activities across Europe.

• Act as a key contact for international customers, handling enquiries, service hotline requests and quotations.

• Communicate and coordinate with customers, service engineers and internal teams in different European countries.

• Support service engineers with job planning, briefings, debriefings and technical documentation.

• Coordinate with sales, project teams and other internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery.

• Monitor working hours, service costs, invoicing and performance indicators.

• Ensure clear communication and efficient coordination throughout the service process.

Your profile

• Educational background in Engineering, Maritime Technology or a comparable discipline.

• Experience or a strong interest in the offshore, maritime or engineering sector.

• Experience in service coordination, technical planning or project support is an advantage.

• Comfortable communicating with international customers and colleagues across Europe.

• Strong organizational, communication and customer-service skills.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Willingness and motivation to learn Dutch.

• Proactive, flexible and hands-on approach.
