For an established Dutch bakery and food production company, we are looking for a (Junior) Electrical Technician to strengthen the technical maintenance team.

Your working environment

You will join a modern industrial bakery where large-scale production processes and automated machinery ensure that products are manufactured efficiently and consistently.

Together with the maintenance team, you will be responsible for keeping the production facilities operational and minimizing unexpected downtime.

You will work with a variety of industrial equipment, including:

• Automated bakery production lines.

• Dough mixers, kneading machines, and dough-processing equipment.

• Industrial ovens, proofing systems, and cooling installations.

• Automated conveyors and material-handling systems.

• Industrial packaging, sealing, labelling, and wrapping machines.

• Electrical installations, control panels, and distribution systems.

• Sensors, motors, frequency drives, and actuators.

• PLC-controlled machinery and automated production equipment.

It is a varied technical environment where electrical engineering, mechanical systems, and industrial automation come together.

What will you do?

As an Electrical Technician, you will help maintain and improve the performance of the bakery's production and packaging equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults in industrial bakery machinery.

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.

• Troubleshooting motors, sensors, frequency drives, and electrical components.

• Inspecting electrical installations, wiring, and control panels.

• Maintaining automated production lines, ovens, mixers, and packaging equipment.

• Identifying the root causes of machine breakdowns and recurring technical issues.

• Supporting technical modifications and improvements to machinery.

• Working closely with production operators and fellow maintenance technicians.

You will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas, improve working methods, and help optimize the technical performance of the production facility.

Who are you?

We are looking for a practical, technically minded person who enjoys solving problems and wants to develop further within industrial maintenance.

You could be a recently graduated technician looking for your first opportunity, or an experienced Electrical Technician ready for a new challenge.

You bring:

• An MBO qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a similar technical discipline.

• Basic to strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial machinery.

• An interest in production equipment, automation, and industrial food processing.

• A hands-on mentality and a structured approach to troubleshooting.

• An interest in continuous improvement and preventing recurring technical problems.

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Flexibility to work in a two-shift system.

Experience with PLCs, frequency drives, automated production lines, or packaging machinery is an advantage, but junior candidates with the right technical background are also encouraged to apply.

• Salary up to €4,500 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
