Job Description

Are you passionate about mechanical design and eager to contribute to the development of high-tech electronic systems? We’re looking for a (Junior) Mechanical Engineer who’s comfortable working in SolidWorks and has a strong technical foundation in mechanical engineering.

You’ll be part of an innovative team that designs and improves mechanical components for advanced electronic and gas detection products. Whether your background is in marine systems, electronics, or general product assemblies, this role offers the perfect opportunity to grow your expertise in a dynamic R&D environment.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and modelling mechanical parts, housings, and assemblies using SolidWorks
  • Translating technical and functional requirements into detailed mechanical designs
  • Producing 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings
  • Working closely with colleagues in electronics, firmware, and production
  • Assisting in prototype assembly, testing, and continuous improvement activities
  • Contributing to design reviews and ensuring compliance with technical and certification standards

 

What you bring

  • A technical degree (MBO+ / HBO) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Hands-on experience with SolidWorks
  • Familiarity with electronic or electromechanical products (e.g., appliances, instrumentation, or assemblies)
  • A practical and solution-oriented approach with a strong desire to learn
  • Good English communication skills (Dutch is a plus, not required)
