For an innovative engineering company operating at the cutting edge of high-end simulation technology, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer who enjoys working hands-on, traveling, and solving technical challenges on-site.

 

Your role

As a Field Service Engineer, you are constantly on the move, visiting customers across Europe (and sometimes beyond) to install, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced simulation systems.

 

You will be working on complex, high-performance machinery including motion platforms, steering systems, and precision-built simulator components. Each system is unique, which makes your job dynamic, challenging, and highly technical.

You are the face of the company on-site, ensuring systems perform at the highest level and customers are fully supported.

 

What you’ll be doing

• Installing and commissioning high-tech simulation systems on-site
• Performing maintenance and resolving mechanical/electrical issues
• Troubleshooting complex systems independently
• Supporting upgrades and modifications
• Working closely with engineering teams back at HQ
• Traveling frequently (national & international)

 

What you bring

• MBO 3/4 or similar in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or Aviation
• Affinity with high-tech machinery or entertainment systems
• Willingness to travel frequently
• Ability to read technical drawings and solve problems independently
• Hands-on mentality and eagerness to learn
• Good command of English (Dutch is a plus)
• Driving license (B)

• Salary up to €3,500 gross per month (depending on experience)
