For an innovative company specialized in transport automation, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer. You will work on advanced systems where mechanical engineering, hydraulics, electrical engineering and automation come together.
No standard production work. No repetitive days. You will work with modern technology, solve technical problems and develop yourself further in a strong technical team.
Work from home. Technology in motion.
You start your workday from home and drive with your company service car to customers in your region. You will work on automated transport systems, machines and installations in logistics and industrial environments.
One day you perform maintenance on an installation, the next day you solve a technical malfunction or help improve and optimize automated systems.
You work independently, have direct customer contact and receive the freedom and responsibility to manage your own work.
You will join a young and experienced technical team where cooperation and development are important.
What will you do?
- Perform maintenance on automated machines and installations
- Solve electrical, mechanical and hydraulic malfunctions
- Test, inspect and adjust installations
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Analyze technical problems and find smart solutions
- Support optimization of transport automation systems
- Report completed service activities
- Advise customers about technical improvements
Working area
You will work regionally in:
- South Holland
- North Holland
You travel directly from home to customer locations in your own region.
What are we looking for?
You do not need to know everything already. We believe motivation, technical insight and willingness to learn are most important.
Do you have experience in maintenance, service engineering, automotive, machine building or industrial technology? Then you already have a strong technical base.
You are someone who:
- Has a technical MBO education (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive or similar)
- Likes working with technology and solving problems
- MINIMUM Dutch on B-1 level and improving
- Has interest in automation and modern systems
- Can work independently and take responsibility
- Is practical and customer-oriented
- Has a driving license B
- Is willing to work in standby/service shifts after the training period
Experience with Siemens PLC systems is a plus, but not required. You can also learn this on the job and training/courses can be provided.
