Join a global high-tech company that develops advanced industrial automation solutions used by manufacturers across Europe and beyond. This is not a traditional office-based support role. You'll combine technical problem-solving with customer visits across Europe, working on innovative industrial systems in both our technical lab and at customer sites.
No experience with our products? No problem.
You'll start with an intensive 4 to 8-week training programme at our international training academy in our Headquarters, giving you all the knowledge needed to become a technical specialist.
Your challenge
As a Junior Technical Support Engineer, you'll support customers and colleagues across Europe by solving complex technical issues involving advanced industrial software, automation and hardware.
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support for advanced industrial software and automation systems.
- Troubleshooting software, communication and hardware integration issues.
- Recreating customer environments in our technical lab to identify and resolve technical problems.
- Supporting customers remotely as well as travelling to customer sites across Europe for installations, troubleshooting and technical support.
- Working closely with R&D, Product Management and Engineering to improve products and customer solutions.
- Performing software testing, diagnostics and system validation.
- Delivering product demonstrations and technical training to customers and colleagues.
- Supporting new product launches and innovative automation projects.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for curious engineers who love technology and enjoy figuring out how systems work.
You have:
- Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, ICT, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electronics, Mechatronics or another relevant technical discipline.
- Up to 2 years of work experience (graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
- A genuine interest in software development and programming.
- Experience through your studies, internships or personal projects with Python, Java, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- A valid driver's licence.
- The legal right to work in Belgium (visa sponsorship is unfortunately not available).
