We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical background and experience in TIG welding, who wants to develop into a versatile all-round technician.

You will work in a high-tech industrial environment, surrounded by complex machinery, production installations and different technical disciplines.

Think of it as a technical playground: you start with what you already know, but you will constantly encounter new technology, new machines and new challenges.

Your foundation may be mechanical engineering and TIG welding, but over time you can develop further into electrical engineering, instrumentation, pneumatics, automation, PLCs and troubleshooting.

You don't need to know everything from day one.

We are looking for someone who is technically curious and wants to learn.

Your role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for keeping complex industrial machinery and installations running reliably.

Your work can include:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues.
• Repairing, modifying and improving machinery.
• TIG welding and mechanical fabrication.
• Disassembling, assembling and aligning machine components.
• Carrying out maintenance and modifications on industrial installations.
• Supporting technical projects, upgrades and overhauls.
• Identifying the root cause of recurring technical problems.
• Working with experienced senior technicians from different disciplines.
• Developing your knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, pneumatics and automation.

The goal is not simply to fix a machine and move on.

We want you to understand why something fails, how the system works and how it can be improved.

That is what makes this role different.

You will work closely with experienced senior technicians who have years of practical knowledge.

They will teach you how to approach complex technical problems, understand machinery and troubleshoot faults effectively.

You bring the curiosity. We provide the environment and the knowledge to help you grow.

Who are you?

We are looking for a hands-on technician with a strong technical mindset.

You don't have to be an expert in every discipline.

What matters is that you enjoy technology, like solving problems and are eager to learn.

You bring:

• At least MBO level 3 or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with TIG welding.
• A solid mechanical engineering background.
• A practical and hands-on mentality.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to quality and safety.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a technical team.
• A willingness to develop your knowledge across multiple technical disciplines.
• Good command of Dutch is essential.
• A no-nonsense mentality: you see a problem, take ownership and work towards a solution.

Experience in a high-tech, production, process, food or chemical environment is an advantage.
