The role
As a production and workplanner, you are at the heart of production. Your work ensures that projects are ready for assembly, production schedules are realistic and efficient, and Lean principles are applied throughout. This role is split roughly 50/50 between work planning for high-tech machinery and continuous improvement initiatives, making it a dynamic and impactful position.
You will:
- Transform technical documentation into clear, production-ready work instructions
- Review and validate mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications
- Develop, maintain, and monitor production and maintenance schedules
- Apply Lean methods such as 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement to optimize workflows
- Serve as the key link between operations, project management, and production
- Collaborate with an international team to ensure smooth coordination and communication
Your profile
- MBO / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechatronics
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within machine building or high-tech production
- Solid understanding of Lean principles and production planning tools
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
- Hands-on, structured, detail-oriented, and proactive
