About the role

Are you technically skilled and ready to apply your electrical knowledge in a modern industrial environment?
We are looking for a motivated electrical technician to join a state-of-the-art production facility in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will help maintain and optimize automated systems, ensuring reliable and safe operation of all electrical and instrumentation installations. You’ll work with advanced measurement and control systems such as sensors, transmitters, and PLC equipment that monitor and regulate pressure, temperature, flow, and level throughout the production process.

This position is open to both experienced professionals and junior technicians eager to learn.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems

• Troubleshoot and repair faults to minimize production downtime

• Inspect, test, and calibrate measurement and control equipment

• Support system modifications, upgrades, and new equipment installations

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and calibration activities

• Contribute ideas for process improvement and standardization

Your profile

• Technical diploma (MBO or equivalent) in electrical, electronic, or instrumentation engineering

• Basic knowledge of electrical installations, instrumentation, and industrial automation

• Experience in a production or process environment is a plus (not required for juniors)

• Familiar with PLC and SCADA systems

• Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one

• Good communication skills in English and at least B-level Dutch (able to read technical documents)

• Accurate, safety-conscious, and proactive team player
