You design electrical systems and schematics, but you’re also closely involved in cabinet build, machine assembly, testing and troubleshooting. You see your work come to life and you help make it work in practice.
What you will do
- Design and improve electrical installations and control systems for advanced machines
- Create and maintain electrical schematics in EPLAN
- Design and optimise control cabinets, including layout, wiring and component selection
- Work closely with technicians on the shop floor during assembly and wiring
- Support testing, commissioning and validation of new systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and control issues and assist with root cause analysis
- Collaborate daily with mechanical engineers, software engineers and system specialists
- Occasionally support installation or service activities on site (optional)
What you bring
- MBO+/HBO level in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
- Experience in electrical work within machine building, panel building or industrial systems
- You are comfortable both designing in EPLAN and working hands-on with hardware
- Able to read and understand electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems, industrial communication or sensors/actuators is a plus
- Practical, flexible mindset, you switch easily between desk work and the workshop
- Structured, solution-oriented and a strong team player
