Due to continued growth, they are looking for a practical and motivated Machine Builder / Assembly Mechanic to strengthen the workshop team.
Your role
As a Machine Builder, you are responsible for assembling complex, high-tech machinery from the ground up. You work from technical drawings and use your mechanical insight to turn designs into fully functioning systems.
You will:
- Assemble and dismantle large, complex mechatronic systems and heavy machinery
- Work with mechanical components, structures, drives, and precision parts
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical technical drawings
- Use tools, lifting equipment, and materials safely and professionally
- Collaborate closely with engineers, electricians, and other technical colleagues
- Support service engineers with the preparation, testing, and maintenance of systems
- Occasionally assist with installations at international customer locations
This is a true machine builder role, constructing advanced systems piece by piece, like building with life-size technical LEGO.

What you bring
- Experience in machine building, heavy machinery assembly, fine mechanics, or technical/mechatronic assembly
- Ability to read and work independently from technical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong mechanical insight and hands-on mentality
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and a structured way of working
- Motivation to learn and grow in a high-tech mechatronics environment
- Good command of English or Dutch
- Willingness to occasionally travel internationally is a plus
