Your role
As an (automotive) mechanic in the workshop, you will work on installing, maintaining, and repairing climate and refrigeration systems in transport vehicles. You will combine your existing vehicle knowledge with new technologies such as refrigeration systems and electronics.
No experience in refrigeration yet? No problem, you will be fully trained and guided.
What will you do?
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot refrigeration and climate systems
- Perform maintenance and repairs on installations in transport vehicles
- Work with technologies such as electronics, low-voltage systems, and vehicle systems
- Install and test new systems
- Work according to quality and safety standards
- Join the on-call service after your onboarding period
What do you bring?
- Technical education at MBO level 3 or higher (e.g. automotive engineering, vehicle technology, or installation technology)
- Several years of experience as an automotive technician or similar
- Interest in refrigeration technology and motivation to learn
- Willingness to obtain certifications (such as F-gas)
- Independent and eager-to-learn mindset
- Driving license (category B)
- Good command of English; willingness to learn Dutch is required
