For an innovative manufacturing company, we are looking for an Allround Electrical Technician who thrives in a modern, automation-driven environment. You will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently.

 

This is a hands-on day shift position offering technical variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work with advanced industrial technology.

 

Your role

As an Allround Electrical Technician, you are responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting electrical installations and production equipment within a highly automated manufacturing environment.

Working closely with production operators, mechanics, and fellow technicians, you ensure maximum machine availability while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Alongside corrective maintenance, you play an important role in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement projects to optimize electrical reliability and production performance.

 

What will you do?

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations and production equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical faults on automated production and packaging lines
• Diagnose issues involving motors, sensors, frequency drives, control panels, and PLC-controlled equipment
• Repair and replace electrical components to minimize production downtime
• Carry out inspections and preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedules
• Support commissioning and testing of new equipment and system upgrades
• Assist with continuous improvement projects to increase machine reliability and efficiency
• Collaborate with operators and maintenance colleagues to resolve technical issues quickly
• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety regulations and company standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and technical records

 

What are we looking for?

You are a hands-on electrical technician who enjoys solving technical challenges and working in a modern industrial environment.

• MBO diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a similar technical field
• Experience as an Electrical Technician or Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and fault finding
• Experience with motors, sensors, control panels, frequency drives, relays, and industrial automation
• Basic understanding of PLC-controlled equipment is an advantage
• Able to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs
• Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
• Able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary maintenance team
• Good communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus
