We are looking for an experienced Allround Maintenance Technician to join one of Europe's most advanced automated logistics operations. You'll be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting state-of-the-art conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), cranes, shuttles, and intelligent control systems that operate 24/7.

 

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys fault finding, root cause analysis, and keeping critical systems running with minimal downtime.

 

About the role

As an Allround Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing highly automated logistics installations.

You will work on both mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable, and available. Your technical expertise will play a vital role in maximizing uptime and improving overall system performance.

Working closely with fellow technicians and operations, you'll solve breakdowns efficiently while contributing to long-term reliability improvements.

 

What will you do?

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated logistics and material handling systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults on conveyors, ASRS systems, cranes, shuttles, motors, drives, and automated equipment
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on motors, sensors, actuators, relays, frequency drives, and control components
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation

 

What do we expect from you?

You are a practical and analytical technician who enjoys solving technical challenges and working with modern automated equipment.

• MBO in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Aviation or a similar technical discipline
• Strong mechanical maintenance skills combined with electrical troubleshooting experience
• Experience working with automated production lines, logistics systems, conveyors, packaging equipment, or material handling installations
• Knowledge of motors, sensors, pneumatic systems, frequency drives, and industrial electrical systems
• Able to read electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings
• Experience with preventive maintenance and fault finding
• Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team
• Willing to work in a 5-shift schedule (3-4-3 rotation)
• Good communication skills in English or Dutch
