For an international company specializing in automated solutions, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer.

 

No repetitive production work. Every day brings a new technical challenge, giving you the opportunity to expand your knowledge while working with innovative technology.

 

Your workday

You start your day from home and travel directly to customer locations using your company service car.

Your service area covers Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Rotterdam, meaning you'll work on a variety of automated parking systems throughout the Randstad region.

 

You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot technical malfunctions, inspect installations, and help optimize advanced automated parking systems.

 

You work independently, have direct customer contact, and enjoy the freedom and responsibility to organize your own work while being supported by an experienced technical team.

 

What will you do?

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated parking systems
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults
• Test, inspect, commission, and adjust installations
• Replace mechanical and electrical components when necessary
• Analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions
• Support system upgrades and modernization projects
• Complete digital service reports
• Advise customers on maintenance and technical improvements

• Rotterdam

You travel directly from home to customer locations in your own service area.

 

What are we looking for?

You don't need to know everything already. Motivation, technical insight, and the willingness to learn are what matter most.

 

If you have experience in maintenance, service engineering, machine building, automotive, industrial maintenance, elevators, or mechatronics, you already have a strong technical foundation.

 

You are someone who:

• Has completed a technical MBO education (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar)
• Has at least B1-level Dutch
• Enjoys troubleshooting and solving technical problems
• Is customer-oriented and works independently
• Has an interest in automation and modern technology
• Holds a valid Category B driving licence
• Is willing to participate in an on-call service rotation after completing the training period

Experience with PLC-controlled systems is a plus, but certainly not required. Full technical training will be provided.
