What will you do?
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll travel directly from your home to customer locations within your region. You'll be responsible for maintaining and servicing automated transport systems while ensuring customers receive reliable technical support.
Your responsibilities include:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on automated machines and installations
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults
- Testing, inspecting, commissioning, and adjusting installations
- Supporting the optimization and continuous improvement of transport automation systems
- Analyzing technical issues and implementing effective solutions
- Reporting completed service activities
- Advising customers on technical improvements and maintenance strategies
- Participating in the standby/service rotation after your training period
A fully equipped company service vehicle is provided, including private use.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for motivated technicians with a passion for technology. You don't need to know everything from day one, we value technical aptitude, curiosity, and the willingness to learn.
You have:
- Minimum a MBO diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, or a similar technical field
- Experience in maintenance, field service, machine building, industrial engineering, or automotive technology
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a practical mindset
- An interest in automation and modern industrial systems
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility
- A customer-focused attitude and good communication skills
- Dutch language proficiency at minimum B1 level, with the motivation to continue improving
- A valid Category B driving licence
- Willingness to participate in the standby/service schedule after your onboarding period
Experience with Siemens PLC systems is an advantage but not required. Comprehensive training and technical courses are available.
