Job Description
Are you technically minded, curious about how machines work, and someone who enjoys working with your hands?
Do you want to learn how modern production machines, robots, and automated systems work and eventually become a skilled all-round Maintenance Technician?
Then this could be your next step.
For a modern production environment, we are looking for a (Junior) Maintenance Technician to join an experienced technical team.
You don't need years of experience.
We are looking for someone with a technical foundation, electrical knowledge, a practical mindset, and the motivation to keep learning.
You will learn the job in practice, working alongside experienced technicians who will help you develop your skills step by step.
Work with the technology of tomorrow
You will work with a modern and varied range of equipment, including:
- Industrial robots
- Automated production lines
- Automated conveyor systems
- Automated warehouse cranes
- Electrical installations
- Mechanical and pneumatic systems
- Sensors, motors, drives, and other technical components
One day you might be troubleshooting a production line.
The next day you could be working on a robot, replacing a sensor, adjusting a mechanical component, or carrying out preventive maintenance.
No two days are exactly the same.
And as you gain experience, you will become increasingly confident in diagnosing and solving technical problems yourself.
What will you do?
As a (Junior) Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with experienced technicians and learn through hands-on experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Working on machines, robots, and automated production lines.
- Maintaining conveyor systems and automated warehouse cranes.
- Inspecting, replacing, and adjusting technical components.
- Working with pneumatics, sensors, motors, and drives.
- Identifying the cause of technical faults.
- Supporting improvements to machines and maintenance processes.
- Learning about PLCs and industrial automation.
- Helping prevent recurring technical failures.
- Gradually taking more responsibility for maintenance and troubleshooting.
You don't have to know everything from day one.
What matters is that you are willing to learn, ask questions, get your hands dirty, and understand how things work.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with technical curiosity and a hands-on mentality.
You might be a recent MBO graduate looking for your first technical position.
Or perhaps you already work as a technician and want to develop further in industrial automation, robotics, and maintenance.
You bring:
- An MBO level 3 or 4 qualification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- An interest in machines, technology, maintenance, and automation.
- A practical mindset, you enjoy working with your hands.
- An interest in troubleshooting and finding the cause of technical problems.
- A willingness to learn and continuously develop your technical skills.
- The ability to work well with colleagues.
- A safety-conscious approach to your work.
- Experience with PLCs is a plus, but not a requirement.
What do we offer?
- Salary up to €4,300 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience.
- Working in a 2-shift system.
- Approximately 4% year-end bonus.
- 8.33% holiday allowance.
- Employer-paid pension contribution.
- 25 vacation days + 13 ADV days.
- A one-year contract with the possibility of a permanent position.
- A structured onboarding and training program.
- Opportunities for technical training, courses, and certifications.
- Career development opportunities towards All-round Maintenance Technician, Working Foreman, or Team Leader.
- A friendly and informal working environment.
- An experienced technical team that is happy to share its knowledge.
You will work alongside experienced technicians who will teach you about troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, robotics, electrical systems, and industrial automation.
The more you learn, the more responsibility you will receive.
Today you are learning alongside an experienced technician.
Tomorrow you are helping solve a breakdown.
Eventually, when a critical machine stops, you are one of the people the team calls.
Ready to take the next step?
Are you a recent graduate or do you already have some technical experience?
Do you want to work with robots, high-tech machines, and industrial automation?
And do you want to develop into a confident, independent all-round Maintenance Technician?
Then we'd like to hear from you.
