About the role
An international manufacturing company is opening a new high-tech production facility in the Rotterdam region. The site will feature automated machinery, packaging systems, and robotics, producing millions of products every day.
We are looking for a hands-on assembly and service engineer who enjoys working with industrial machinery and wants to be involved from installation to long-term operation.
What you will do
- Assemble, install, and maintain industrial and robotic machinery
- Support testing, commissioning, and ramp-up of production lines
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical faults
- Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and external suppliers
- Document assembly and maintenance activities
- Contribute to process improvements and technical upgrades
- Ensure machinery runs safely and efficiently
Your profile
- MBO-level education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or related field
- Experience in assembly, maintenance, or service of industrial machinery
- Practical, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English; motivated to learn Dutch
- Valid driver’s license (B)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
What we offer
- Salary up to €4,200 gross per month (40 hours, depending on experience)
