We are looking for a mechanic to join a fully automated maintenance environment, where no two days are the same. Beneath it all, the team is very chill, supportive, and passionate about keeping everything running perfectly.

About the role

You will maintain, inspect, and repair mechanical and basic electrical systems in a 24/7 automated environment. This includes conveyors, cranes, and other moving installations.

Your responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair automated installations like conveyors and cranes
• Clean, lubricate, and care for components such as bearings, chains, and rollers
• Inspect machines and identify wear or irregularities
• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
• Log all maintenance activities digitally
• Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized

What we expect from you

• Minimum MBO/BBL technical education or equivalent (Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or similar)
• Hands-on technical experience (work or hobby)
• Affinity with mechanical systems and basic electrical knowledge
• Willingness to work a 5-shift schedule
• Proactive, practical, and independent mindset
• Attention to safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Dutch language skills or willingness to learn (English is fine)

(if you are junior/ new to this roll or want to make a switch. Then we expect the minimum:

• Good communication skills in Dutch or English (learning Dutch for future growth is encouraged)
• At least a technical degree or equivalent qualification (mechanical engineering, automotive, or similar)
• Passion for mechanics or electronics; hands-on experience or hobbyist tinkering is a plus
