Technical Support Engineer High Tech Polish speaking
Location: Mechelen | Start date: ASAP / by agreement

At their European hub in Mechelen, they are looking for ambitious technical profiles who want to grow into a crucial expert role, supporting international customers and sales teams.
Your role: Connecting innovation with application
In the position of Technical Support Engineer, you become a key technical reference within the company. This is far beyond a traditional helpdesk function you act as a trusted advisor, tackling complex technical questions. No background in sensors or microscopy yet? That’s absolutely fine. You’ll start with an intensive onboarding program of 4 to 6 weeks, giving you a deep understanding of the products, software, and their industrial applications.
What will you be doing?
• Technical Advisory: Provide guidance to international clients and sales colleagues on product performance, installation, and integration within production systems.
• Issue Resolution: Handle technical inquiries via phone, email, and video, and use the in-house lab to test and troubleshoot products in a practical way.
• Training & Support: Coach new Sales Engineers, perform product demonstrations, and assist during important customer meetings.
• European Scope: Prepare technical documentation and travel across Europe (approximately 30%) for product rollouts and training at different locations.
The ideal mix: Office-based with travel opportunities
You will mainly operate from the modern office in Mechelen, working in a team focused on specific product groups (such as Sensors, Metrology, or Microscopy). Although this is not a field-based role, you can expect to travel around 30% of the time usually short trips of 1 to 3 days supporting colleagues and customer activities throughout Europe.
Who are you?
You have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy translating complex technical concepts into clear explanations. In addition, you bring:
• A bachelor’s degree (preferably in a technical or scientific field)
• Up to 2 years of experience; recent graduates with strong motivation are welcome
• Initiative and a strong drive to develop into a subject-matter expert
• Excellent communication skills (fluent in English; Polish or other languages are an advantage)
• You are based in the Mechelen/Brussels region or open to relocating
• A relocation package is available for candidates moving from abroad or further away
