We are looking for a (Junior) Assembly Technician to join an experienced technical team. You will work on the assembly, installation and testing of complete machines and production lines for international customers.

Every project is different. You will work on large-scale equipment and complete production systems, turning individual components into fully functioning machines.

What will you do?

As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be involved in the complete mechanical construction of machines and production lines.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assembling machines, mechanical systems and complete production lines
• Building and installing mechanical components and machine modules
• Working from technical and mechanical drawings
• Mounting components such as bearings, shafts, drives, conveyors and mechanical assemblies
• Performing mechanical alignment, adjustment and installation work
• Connecting and assembling mechanical systems within complete production lines
• Assisting with installation and commissioning at customer locations
• Identifying and solving mechanical problems during assembly and testing
• Working closely with engineers, project managers and other technicians
• Ensuring that machines are assembled safely, accurately and according to quality standards

Who are we looking for?

You are a practical and technically minded person who enjoys building and assembling machines. You like working with tools, solving mechanical problems and seeing a complete machine or production line come together.

You have:

• A minimum MBO-level mechanical education or equivalent practical experience
• A background in Mechanical Engineering, Machine Building, Mechatronics, Aerospace or a similar technical field
• Experience or a strong interest in mechanical assembly
• The ability to read mechanical drawings
• A hands-on and problem-solving mindset
• A precise and responsible approach to your work
• Good communication skills in English
• Willingness to occasionally travel to customer locations for installation or commissioning

Junior candidates are welcome. Experience in machine building, industrial equipment or mechanical assembly is a plus, but not essential for the right candidate.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, together with engineers, technicians and project managers, to turn engineering designs into fully operational production systems.

Your work will not be limited to one machine or one repetitive task. You will be involved in different projects and see the complete process from mechanical assembly through to installation and commissioning.
