We are looking for an E&I Maintenance Technician to join the technical team of a large industrial production facility specialising in natural and environmentally responsible minerals.

This is a hands-on role in a large production environment where electrical engineering, instrumentation, automation and mechanical equipment all come together.

A production environment that keeps you challenged

Forget sitting behind a desk or doing the same maintenance task every day.

You will work throughout a large industrial plant with continuously running production lines and a wide variety of equipment.

Your working environment can include:

• Industrial electrical installations
• Motors, gearboxes and frequency drives
• PLC-controlled production equipment
• Sensors and instrumentation
• Temperature, pressure, flow and level measurement
• Control valves and actuators
• Control panels and switchgear
• Pumps, compressors and rotating equipment
• Conveyors and processing machinery
• Pneumatic systems
• Industrial automation and process control systems

The plant is constantly operating, which means there is always something happening.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a technician who combines electrical knowledge with a practical maintenance mentality.

You don't have to be an expert in every system. What matters is that you are technically curious, enjoy troubleshooting and are willing to get involved.

You have:

• Minimum an MBO-4 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, E&I, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or a similar technical field
• Experience in electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance
• Experience working in an industrial or production environment
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems
• Experience with sensors, motors, drives or automation
• The ability to read electrical and technical drawings
• A practical, hands-on approach
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• A safety-first mindset
• Good English communication skills
• Willingness to work shifts

Experience with PLC systems, process instrumentation, frequency drives, control valves and industrial maintenance is a strong advantage.

And most importantly...

You are not afraid to get your hands dirty.

You enjoy the combination of electrical troubleshooting, instrumentation and practical maintenance. You don't mind picking up a tool, opening a machine or helping your colleagues solve a problem when production needs to keep moving.
