We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the technical team of a large-scale food production facility.
You will be responsible for keeping the production lines, machinery and technical installations running safely, reliably and efficiently.
From mixing and dough processing to baking, cooling, conveying and packaging, you will work with a wide range of industrial bakery systems.
What will you do?
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work directly on the production floor and help keep the complete production process running.
Your responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical breakdowns
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Maintaining industrial bakery and food-processing machinery
- Troubleshooting motors, drives, sensors, pumps, valves and pneumatic systems
- Maintaining ovens, mixers, conveyors, forming machines and packaging equipment
- Performing inspections, adjustments and component replacements
- Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
- Ensuring maintenance work is carried out safely and according to company procedures
One shift you might be working on an industrial oven, while the next you could be troubleshooting a conveyor, mixer, packaging machine or electrical fault.
The variety is what makes the job interesting.
Who are we looking for?
You are a practical technician who enjoys working with industrial machinery and solving problems under real production conditions.
You have:
- A minimum MBO-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a similar technical field
- Experience with maintenance in a production or industrial environment
- A strong mechanical and/or electrical technical foundation
- Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery
- The ability to read mechanical and/or electrical drawings
- A hands-on and solution-oriented approach
- A strong focus on safety and quality
- Good English communication skills
- Willingness to work in shifts
Experience with food-processing machinery, bakery equipment, production lines, PLCs, motors, drives, pneumatics or industrial automation is an advantage.
